Technology is made up of Design and Technologies and Digital Technologies.
In Design and Technologies, students will explore and investigate technologies such as: materials, systems, tools and equipment. Students will develop an understanding of how environmental and sustainability factors influence design and technologies decisions. They will evaluate using questions like: ‘How does it work?’, ‘What purpose does this meet?’, ‘How can it be improved?’
In Digital Technology, students will develop foundational skills in computational thinking and experiences using digital systems. They will begin to identify patterns in data they collect and earn how to organise their data in creative ways to create meaning. They will explore digital solutions through guided play and integrated learning.
